Nahed Badaweih, was born in Damascus, studied civil engineering, participated in the leftist political movement and worked as a journalist since 2000 with the rising of Damascus Spring movement within the context of her activity in the Democratic Movement. In 2011 she participated in the revolution for freedom. She left Syria for France in 2013, joined the Women Committee of the Higher Committee of Negotiations. She is member of the Syrian Women Political Movement, and member of the French society, ”Reviver” which cares for Syrian Refugees.
