Negotiation Skills Training in Gaziantep, Turkey

The Syrian Women’s Political Movement organized a training session on negotiation skills at Tastakel Organization in Gaziantep, Turkey. The training took place over three days, from August 23 to August 25, 2024. The session was led by Hind Qabwat, a member of the Syrian Women’s Political Movement, with assistance from Kinda Nasser. Attendees included movement members Ahlam Nazzal, Dima Al-Mohammad, Suad Al-Aswad, Susan Dahman, Safa Al-Turki, Ghaithaa Asaad, Fatima Hamid, Kibriya Al-Saour, Malak Touma, and Naima Ahmed.
The training aimed to enhance negotiation skills through theoretical education and practical exercises, as well as to strengthen the understanding of interpersonal and cross-cultural negotiation dynamics.
The training covered an introduction to negotiation principles, essential concepts, and strategies necessary for effective negotiation. It also included cross-cultural negotiation skills to explore the nuances of negotiating across different cultures, in addition to advanced negotiation methodologies, principles and tactics, mediation, and team leadership.
