Malak Touma, born on October 24, 1992, in Aleppo, has been a resident of Turkey since 2013. She holds a degree in Political Science and International Relations from Mardin Artuklu University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Anthropology at Dublin University. Between 2021 and 2023, she served as Deputy President of the Syrian community in Gaziantep. Since early 2024, she has been employed in the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Interim Syrian Government. Malak has played a key role in establishing various associations in Gaziantep, Turkey. Her professional endeavors encompass journalism, training, and translation, with a focus on women’s political engagement and peacebuilding. Additionally, Malak is an active member of the Syrian Women’s Political Movement.
